The Torch Tower Renovation Was Designed to Balance Luxury Family Living With High-Performance Short-Term Rental Returns.

This renovation at Torch Tower in Dubai Marina was commissioned with a clear dual objective: to create a sophisticated family residence for the owners during their time in Dubai, while also delivering a premium short-term rental property capable of competing at the top end of the Airbnb market. From the outset, the design strategy focused on durability, comfort, and visual appeal to ensure the apartment performed equally well as a private home and an income-generating asset.

The Interior Transformation Reimagined the Apartment Layout to Maximise Space, Flow, and Functionality.

The original apartment featured an enclosed kitchen, worn bathrooms, and outdated finishes that limited both usability and appeal. Working closely with the client and specialist contractors, the layout was reconfigured to introduce a seamless open-plan living concept, including the removal of kitchen enclosure walls and the full relocation of electrical, plumbing, and drainage systems. A contemporary integrated kitchen with an island and seating area was installed, creating a space suitable for both entertaining and everyday family use.

Luxury Bathroom, Ceiling, and Lighting Upgrades Elevated the Apartment to a Premium Living Standard.

Bathrooms were fully upgraded using high-end Bagno Design fittings, incorporating rain showers, premium fixtures, designer tiling, and floating toilets for a clean modern aesthetic. The master bathroom was further enhanced with a jacuzzi bathtub to add a distinct luxury feature. Newly constructed ceilings were introduced in key living areas, complemented by integrated feature lighting and LED strip lighting within cove details, carefully tailored to the client’s preferences.

Located on one of the highest floors of Torch Tower, the apartment benefits from uninterrupted panoramic views across the ocean, Dubai Marina, and Palm Jumeirah. The final design maximises these views while maintaining a sense of warmth and comfort, resulting in a refined family home and a high-yield rental property. Following completion, the apartment quickly became one of the top-performing Airbnb listings in Dubai, achieving full occupancy throughout the year.
